Alfredo grew up in a winemaking family in Italy, with family vineyards dating back 150 years. Growing up, Alfredo spent his summers working in the vineyards and then pursued a degree in Engineering from Carnegie Mellon and a graduate degree in Business from the University of Michigan. With his mechanical engineering background, Alfredo has never met a used piece of equipment he cannot fix. This is especially true during harvest. Alfredo embraces all aspects of winemaking with common sense and good humor, coining our Apolloni Vineyards motto, “It’s all good!”
Laurine Apolloni brings her solid Midwestern values (she is an Indiana native) and advanced degree in Engineering to keep everyone in line at Apolloni Vineyards. Wearing many hats, including bookkeeping and accounting/compliance/event planning/graphic design/#1 mom/feeding the harvest crew, she keeps the lights on and the family organized!
We were lucky enough to have Kevin join us, after several years of working at Montinore Estate. Originally from Colorado, Kevin brings his outstanding winemaking skills, organization and commitment to recycling and sustainability to our team. Kevin is also able to find time to produce his own wine, complete do-it-yourself home renovation projects and is smart enough to be married to a lovely Irish lass.
Originally from Virginia, Spencer has embraced a nomadic lifestyle for the past couple years. He taught English for the Peace Corps in Armenia, worked for a luxury hotel in Alaska, and wrote proposals for an architecture/engineering firm in Washington D.C. Through his travels, he discovered a fervent love for hospitality and wine. What started as a harvest internship in the Willamette Valley turned into a full-blown career in the wine industry. His transient mentality has shifted to that of someone willing to prove himself in any capacity at Apolloni Vineyards. You may find him in the cellar topping barrels or assisting with bottling, but his true passion lies with customers in the tasting room, helping with cellar club, events, and nerding out about wine (bonus points if you can talk with him about Virginia wine).
Hailing from the Sonoma County region of Northern California, Zack brings a fun and exciting presence to the tasting room. After pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Geography, he navigated his way north. A previous Cellar Club member, his addition to the industry comes with passion and a thirst for knowledge. An easy-going demeanor and playful attitude allows him to connect with anyone who walks through the tasting room doors.
A born and raised Oregonian, Zane comes from a background in the Music Industry, where he fell into wine through travel while on tour with multiple music groups. He’s explored all aspects of the wine industry from production to distribution, and brings a background in marketing and design from his time doing promotion for musicians and non-profits. Zane is a 3rd generation photographer, and loves finding new ways to show off Apolloni wines in new settings. With a love for all sides of the wine buisness, you can find Zane helping in the cellar during harvest, taste testing the next brunch menu or planning the next big event at the winery.
