OUR PEOPLE

Alfredo Apolloni – Owner & Winegrower

Read Bio

Alfredo grew up in a winemaking family in Italy, with family vineyards dating back 150 years. Growing up, Alfredo spent his summers working in the vineyards and then pursued a degree in Engineering from Carnegie Mellon and a graduate degree in Business from the University of Michigan. With his mechanical engineering background, Alfredo has never met a used piece of equipment he cannot fix. This is especially true during harvest. Alfredo embraces all aspects of winemaking with common sense and good humor, coining our Apolloni Vineyards motto, “It’s all good!”

Spencer Adams – Tasting Room Manager

Read Bio

Originally from Virginia, Spencer has embraced a nomadic lifestyle for the past couple years. He taught English for the Peace Corps in Armenia, worked for a luxury hotel in Alaska, and wrote proposals for an architecture/engineering firm in Washington D.C. Through his travels, he discovered a fervent love for hospitality and wine. What started as a harvest internship in the Willamette Valley turned into a full-blown career in the wine industry. His transient mentality has shifted to that of someone willing to prove himself in any capacity at Apolloni Vineyards. You may find him in the cellar topping barrels or assisting with bottling, but his true passion lies with customers in the tasting room, helping with cellar club, events, and nerding out about wine (bonus points if you can talk with him about Virginia wine).
